Small enough to be a cheap mistake.

Every VAI Five engagement runs in three stages — a free feasibility note, a fixed-price two-week pilot, and a production build with handover — and each stage ends with a written output you keep whether or not you continue. The method exists because most AI projects at small companies fail by being too big too early.

Stage 1 — the feasibility note

Free, after a 30-minute call. We ask what decision should get better, what data exists and where it lives, and what you do today. You get one page: the problem restated as a prediction or a task, the baseline to beat, the data gaps, whether AI is the right tool (sometimes it is a spreadsheet, sometimes it is "start logging this field"), the pilot design and its fixed price.

About a third of notes recommend not building yet. Those are the cheapest wins we deliver.

Stage 2 — the two-week pilot

Fixed price, fixed scope, on a slice of your real data. Week one builds the evaluation — the set of real cases and right answers that every later version is scored against — and the simplest baseline. Week two builds the candidate and measures it against the baseline and against whatever you use today. The pilot ends with a working prototype, the scores, and a go/no-go recommendation in writing. If it is a no-go you still have the evaluation set and the baseline, which are worth having.

Stage 3 — build and handover

Four to ten weeks depending on integrations. Production pipeline, monitoring for drift and failures, documentation, and a handover session with your engineers. Everything lives in your repository and your cloud account; there is no platform of ours in the middle. Optional monthly care covers retraining, drift review and small changes.

Principles that show up in the work

  • Baseline first. No model ships without beating the simplest alternative on your data.
  • Small models before large ones. Most business problems are solved by something that runs on a cheap instance. Language models are reached for when the task is language.
  • Evaluation you can read. Metrics in rupees, hours and errors avoided, not only accuracy.
  • Your infrastructure. Indian cloud regions or your own servers; we do not keep your data after handover.
  • One accountable person. Vishal leads every engagement and signs every note. Specialists join for specific work; the point of contact does not change.

How we write

Every page on this site is written and reviewed by a named person, states what we can and cannot show, and cites sources for any external claim. We do not publish client names, numbers or testimonials we cannot verify, and we say "in development" when something is. The same standard applies to the content systems we build for clients.

Tell us the problem, not the model.

A 30-minute call and a one-page feasibility note, free. If a two-week pilot makes sense, we scope it with a fixed price. If it does not, we say so.
